Drawing and painting are great methods for recording the pictures one creates when one dreams that one is taking the shot-of-a-lifetime only to wake up and have nothing to show for what was, in the dream, really a lot of effort. Also excellent for missed photo opportunities and sometimes even compositions which come purely from the imagination.
